July 14, 2000, we took this, turned it into this and sold it for a house on a single level. Two months on the market. Didn't make much.
We got "our orange house" and are enjoying setting it up. We'll miss our old house, our neighbors and savor our memories. During our stay there, Frankie was born, we hosted dinner parties and playgroups and in the final days watched my father wither. It's sale, as of 9:00 this morning, marks an end and a beginning.
New neighbors, fun places to explore, more dinner parties and playgroups and a tad more closet space are all waiting for us.

Family Guy - Annoying Stewie - video powered by Metacafe
In our situation, Stewie is playing Frankie and Marge could be played by either Trish or I after one of a thousand trips to Lowe's.

Just call 311
Columbus has a neat service in which you can schedule bulk pick-up for items (too big for weekly pickup). I tried to schedule it and told them I had 30-something trash bags full of paper plus some other non-construction-material trash. Here's the nifty response I received.
Hooray for taxes.
Update
After an email to the Mayor's Action Line, suddenly the folks turned my egregious pile of hazardous waste/code violation into a simple refuse pickup request. They're coming tomorrow.
Update (again)
My million bags of refuse, tacky xmas decor and broken bookcases was picked up completely as of this morning! Thanks 311.columbus.gov!
This was not turned in for bulk pickup it was sent to Code Enforcement for Health violations. The items described are not bulk pick up and needs to be disposed of by the owner contacting a private hauler. See service request #xxxxxxxxx at www.311@columbus.gov. If you have any further questions please e-mail us or contact our 311 Call Center, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 645-3111.Right. Bags and bags of crumbly paper. Health Hazard. Code Violation. Thanks.
