Anyone see their gas bill? Half the month was unseasonably warm and it was the highest month we've ever paid. Ouch.

welcome to the world of responsible consumption of the earth's natural resources...
a few tips: get a thermostat with a timer on it, if you don't have one. honeywell makes some really cool looking ones.
set it on the minimum temperature you can stand (it's a luxury to walk around the house in shorts and short-sleeved shirts).
have it on ONLY when you're home.
I learned to dress in sweats and a sweatshirt when I got a $1300 bill two years ago, and brought the bill down to $400.
OR
Get an employer who pays your utilities!!! Like I used to have!!!
And yes, gas here was up to $6.50 a gallon this summer... I have a 16 gallon tank, and I filled it up an average of once a week, then stopped driving so much because of the expense... The employer used to pay for that, too!
