To move or not to move?

We're starting to spiffy-up our abode just in case we get the urge to move. It's a terrifying prospect (for me at least). We need more space. For Frankie, for her sleepovers, for her privacy, for her to play (and maybe a closet or so for us). Maybe if we get the place looking good enough to sell, we won't want to move. Big changes like this are just scary.
