the craziest awesome week

Before the surliness sets in, I wanted to secure a week with the kid and a few friends, here's what we did form M-F:
breakfast
bowling at AMF lanes Sawmill
lunch at the lanes
<drama></drama>
a tour of @Graeters and an ice cream
watched Mirror Mirror at Cinemark
snacked
breakfast
hiked in Glen Echo ravine
took the #4 bus down Indianola to Huntington Stadium
watched a half game of the Clippers and Charlotte in blistering heat
watched the game with a couple other parents
drank a bloody Mary
returned to the ranch whipped
watched Harry Potter
<drama></drama>
breakfast
waded in every stream Glen Echo has
(noted we need to return to pick up trash)
found fish in those streams!
rescued my lunkhead dog from a platform she couldn't  get down from
took showers (guided by Trish)
Mentos geysers with about 30 bottles of pop and had every kid in the neighborhood to participate
walked to @Studio35 for Wimpy Kid: Roderick Rules
got some good activity tips from Stacy working the concessions
got some free tastes from the taps from said concession stands
ate Sour Patch Kids candy
<drama></drama>
marched back home
made lip balm from Vaseline, olive oil, honey and essential oils
breakfast
more hiking
picnic lunch (they actually ate good bread and admitted to liking it)
yet more hiking on the Overlook trail at Highbanks Metropark
experienced much drama finishing the 2.5 mi hike
movie watching while making more cosmetics (powder)
breakfast
outdoor screaming and scampering
drove to @ColumbusCommons for 10-2 kid play Fridays
there they bounced, slid, and flew free kites
Sierra club gave free kites claiming it to be Global Wind Day
4 hours of outdoor running and frolicking
returned home to make powder and oobleck from cornstarch

The kids had fun and learned to resolve conflicts.
I hope they remember it.
