In 2000, I was asking some coworkers what effect they thought the weather would have on the election, it was predicted to rain. One lad blurted out, "If it rains it will be an advantage for Republicans, because Dems are stupid and lazy and won't go out to vote."
I'm actually still friends with the guy who said that, he's incredibly smart too. I think he just slipped.
